Client Problem
Muzika Inspired is Ethiopia's first AI-sung album, produced by Derege Tadesse. Because the album features multiple AI-generated artists, there were no real performers for audiences to recognize or connect with, making it difficult to build a memorable visual identity.
Insight
People connect with personalities, not technology. The project needed a recurring visual language that could give each AI artist a recognizable presence while unifying the album under one cohesive identity.
Solution
I created a cast of AI artist personas that became the visual face of the album. Inspired by Ethiopian fashion, hairstyles, and cultural elements, each character features a simplified robotic face while expressing individuality through styling and silhouette. I then built a scalable visual identity system and applied it across the album artwork, distribution assets, YouTube thumbnails, stickers, and promotional materials, creating a cohesive brand experience across every touchpoint.
